The Use of Graphics

Square Face Generator composites transparent PNG layers in your browser. The current face parts are original procedural assets generated by scripts/generate-japanese-square-assets.mjs.

The visual direction is inspired by cute Japanese avatar makers and classic Flash-era UI, but the project does not copy, extract, or bundle assets from the original Square Face Icon Generator SWF or third-party sites.

Your responsibilities

• Keep this graphics notice visible if you publish a fork with these generated assets.
• Replacing public/assets/parts with your own art is fine. Rerun npm run assets:config to refresh picker metadata.
• Do not add third-party art unless you have the right to use it.
